High demands in terms of quality and flexibility are made on the label production for the "Evoke" scented candles, which are more than met by the LX610e Colour Label Printer.

The start-up Evoke was founded in November 2020 by Laura Ciornavei to realise her own ideas of unique scented candles in a jar, which are clearly different from industrially produced candles due to their individual design.
For the candle jars, the cardboard boxes in which the candles are packed, and for the multilingual safety instructions, appropriate labels are needed. In addition, for some products, small round labels are attached to the bottom of the jar or sticked onto small cardboard tags.
The owner of Evoke has high demands on the quality and durability of the printed labels. In her opinion, a good label must be visually flawless, i.e. the ink must not smudge, the printout must have a high resolution that allows sharp and precise details, and needs to withstand light exposure over a longer period of time without being damaged.
"Being able to print labels in good quality myself was a condition for me to be able to offer my products. It is very important to me that everything, from the product to the packaging, meets my own very high expectations and convinces my customers. High-quality labels are a must and with the LX610e I have found a device that meets my high demands," Ms Ciornavei sums up her requirements.
She purchased the printer including software from the authorised DTM Print partner Karley Deutschland GmbH.
At the time of purchase there was no printer driver and software available for Mac users, which almost stopped the businesswoman from buying. As interim solution Apple’s Bootcamp was used. Shortly after a Mac driver for the LX610e was announced and the PTCreate™ Pro design software can now also be used under macOS. This means that Ms Ciornavei can now try out her ideas for new labels even more quickly and easily.
