Primera’s Label Printers at Speciality & Fine Food Fair 2018

WIESBADEN, GERMANY (07 August 2018) – At UK’s leading industry showcase of fine food and drink, the Speciality & Fine Food Fair, held at Olympia in London, 2-4 September 2018, Primera Technology will present its LX-series inkjet-based label printers, including the LX500e Color Label Printer and the brand-new LX910e Color Label Printer.

With LX-series colour label printers it is no longer needed to order massive quantities of pre-printed. There’s no lead-time and no set-up charges, either. Design changes can be accomplished immediately so there’s no wasted inventory – as only the labels are printed that are needed when there are needed – no matter it be 1, 1000 or 10,000 labels. LX-series printers are perfect for businesses and companies of all sizes that want to design and produce their own labels or offer private labelling and personalised products.

Typical applications include product labels for coffee, wine, bakery, confectionary, meat, cheese and hundreds of other specialty and gourmet foods.

Primera’s entry-level model LX500e utilises a new print engine that doubles the maximum print speed. The capacity of the tri-colour ink cartridge is higher and keeps cost per label low. Fast print speeds and an optional built-in guillotine-style cutter allow users to quickly and easily print and cut their short-run labels. That makes the LX500e the perfect solution for start-up, small businesses and in-store on-demand label printing applications.

With a print speed of up to 11.4 cm/s Primera’s new LX910e is not only the company’s fastest desktop label printer, it also offers very low ink costs due to a new, ultra-high capacity ink cartridge.

LX910e utilises one tri-colour (CMY) ink cartridge with an integrated printhead. With every cartridge change users get a new printhead, simplifying maintenance and lowering on-going operating costs. Process black is dark and crisp and uses no more ink than a separate black ink tank would on the same amount of text or graphics.

LX910e can print with dye-based ink for brilliant, eye-popping colour or with pigment ink for maximum durability against water and UV light. Both types of ink work interchangeably on the same printer.
