Primera’s Label Printing Solutions at drupa 2016

CX/FX1200e – Primera’s Color Label Press and Digital Finishing System
CX1200e is the perfect solution for service bureaus and a broad range of manufacturers who need to print from just a few labels to tens of thousands of labels at a time. With 2400 dpi print resolution and print speed of five meters per minute, CX1200e delivers professional full-colour print quality along with high-speed production. CX1200e output has much deeper and far more vibrant colours.

If finished rolls are needed, the FX1200e Digital Finishing System is the perfect accessory to the CX1200e Color Label Press. It “finishes” the printed output with several different operations including: lamination, digital die-cutting, waste matrix removal, slitting and rewinding. Utilizing Primera’s QuadraCut™ technology, virtually any size and shape of label can be produced including complicated contour cuts, without the need to purchase expensive rotary or flat dies.

LX900e – Primera’s best-selling inkjet label printer
Primera Technology has successfully developed short- to medium-run solutions using inkjet technology, such as the LX900e Color Label Printer. Its print resolution of 4800 dpi guarantees a printout in photorealistic quality and enables users to add vibrant pictures of their products next to small texts such as ingredients, instructions or barcodes and still every detail of that label is razor-sharp. Labels can be printed whenever they are needed and in the required quantity.

LX2000e – Primera’s industrial printer
LX2000e Color Label Printer is Primera Technology’s newest and fastest pigment inkjet label printer using the BS5609 Section 3 certified ink. This industrial-grade printer represents an entirely new product class and is suitable for use in off- and in-line productions. It stands out especially for its robust construction, its reliability and consistency of the printing output, which is extremely important for example in the logistics or chemical sector.

In combination with various synthetic materials like Primera’s Tuffcoat Extreme Polyjet material, LX2000e labels are highly water and UV resistant and therefore fulfil all requirement for GHS compliant labelling. This durability supports applications such as frozen or refrigerated foods, beverages, but also bath and shower products or containers and drums of chemicals.

Large, separate ink cartridges keep cost per label low while print speeds of 152 mm/s, along with 210 mm print width produce full colour labels extremely fast. Wired Ethernet, USB 2.0 and wireless connectivity enables an easy integration of the LX2000e in existing production processes, allows printing jobs to be decentralized started and controlled and supports the cost evaluation.

AP360e/362e/550e – Primera’s Label Applicators
Primera’s label product range is completed by the AP-series Label Applicators. The AP360e single and AP362e front and back round container label applicator and the AP550e label applicator for flat-sided containers like square sided bottles and boxes apply labels faster, more accurately and wrinkle-free – helping to speed up the production and sell more products than by applying labels manually.
