Create Excitement Like Coca-Cola with Primera’s Label Printers

Primera honours the creativity of its customers and obtains feedback from the online community

WIESBADEN, GERMANY (September 24, 2013) —This year, the Coca-Cola® Company impressively demonstrated the strong need for personalized consumer products with their immensely popular “Share a Coke” campaign. Consumers like to experience a personal relationship with products like Coca-Cola, which sold their bottles of soda with customer’s first names on bottle labels. The success of this campaign can’t be ignored in social networks or when customers start to turn upside down the supermarket shelves to find their own or favourite names like “Prince” on the products.

With Primera Label Printers you can implement such personalization to your products. Create a suitable label for a certain group on-demand. This will strengthen the customer’s loyalty and you can react to new trends immediately.

The possibilities are virtually unlimited. To demonstrate the level of creativity with Primera’s Label printers we announced a contest where the producers can present their label designs at this year’s LabelExpo in Brussels. A jury of five experienced label professionals will evaluate the submitted labels which come in a wide range for wine, food, cosmetics and address labels. The five professionals are: Jean Poncet and John Penhallow from the magazine Etiq & Pack, Holger Knöll, Editor from Etiketten Labels, Mark Strobel, Vice President of Primera Technology USA and Andreas Hoffmann, Managing Director from Primera Technology Europe.

The winner, selected by the professional jury on 26 September 17:00 at LabelExpo, is the company Sanbesan S.L. from Spain with his excellent wine label. He is the proud winner of a complete toner kit for Primera’s CX1200e Digital Color Label Roll Press, worth 1400 Euro. Winners 2-10 will get a label roll of their choice for their CX1200e system.

Primera also asked the social networking community for best label and started an online label contest on Facebook for the first time. All Facebook users were allowed to decide with their likes which label they “Like” the most. A practical side effect of this community voting is that the label manufacturer gets a higher awareness in the social networking community.

The winner of the online-community is Speed Etiq, France with his label for wine. He receives an iPad® mini.
