New Primera Digital Roll Press CFX12PLUS reduces toner cost 50%

WIESBADEN, GERMANY (September 24, 2013)— Primera Technology Europe, EMEA-Headquarters of Primera Technology Inc., the world's leading developer and manufacturer of special printers, announced today a new model of its CX/FX1200e Digital Label Combo at Labelexpo Europe.

Primera‘s CX/FX Digital roll press and finishing system has revolutionized the market for small to medium on demand printing for the past five years with the most cost effective solution which has been imitated several times but still stands alone due to its innovative combination of speed, print quality and versatility of cutting and finishing any size and any shape of label imaginable.

With up to 2400 dpi resolution, the variety of label materials from paper to polyester and a print speed of 5 meters per minute, the CX/FX system allows a flexible, on-demand production of any size and shape label without waste.

After consultation with many customers, Primera developed a new support/contract- based combo called CFX12PLUS. Beside updated features and high performance hardware, toner cost per print has been reduced by an average of 50 percent. This allows even longer runs to be economically produced by the system.

The new CFX12PLUS is a 24 months service package with two years of warranty compared to the standard one year period.
Furthermore the hardware has been enhanced to include a new i7 built-in PC with front access for flash media and optical discs as well a 24" vertical monitor to enhance the user‘s experience and efficiency. Last but not least CFX12PLUS customers benefit from a special, subsidized toner cost-reduction program where they pay only 50% compared to regular retail price.

After 24 months, the service package can be extended to 36 or 48 months as well CFX12PLUS machines benefit from a special first eligible upgrade program to new models when available.
