New Fast Standalone USB Duplication Tower

USB Publisher 2100 copies up to 21 USB flash drives with up to 90 MB/s*

WIESBADEN (October 30, 2012) — Primera Technology Europe, EMEA headquarter of Primera Technology, Inc., the world's leading developer and manufacturer of CD/DVD/BD duplication and printing equipment, today announced the new USB Publisher 2100.

With 90 MB data throughput per second and 21 individually controllable USB slots the USB Publisher 2100 is one of the fastest USB duplicators in the world. The USB tower, developed by German manufacturer Altec, is pre-installed with Windows 7 (either English or German, other languages upon request) and Altec's PowerSoftware. It's shipped with a built-in DVD drive, mouse and keyboard. That way instant copying of USB flash drives is possible.

In addition SD and other flash cards can be copied by using an optional adapter, saving money, as users don't have to purchase a variety of copy towers for different media types. Furthermore, network integration is easy, which reduces the needed space, maintenance time and total costs.

The PowerSoftware offers several features for an advanced and intelligent copying process such as setting individual rights for different users. All 21 USB slots can be controlled individually by two different operating modes. By choosing the 'Standard Parallel Mode' copying doesn't start until all flash drives are in a slot and the start button is pressed. The second mode is called 'Copy On Insertion'. As soon as one flash drive is inserted in a slot the copying process starts. When the last drive is inserted the first one is already finished, saving a lot of time.
