Primera Technology Announces New DP-XRP100 Disc Publisher

DP-XRP100 Offers High-Quality Technology, Advanced Service to a Fair Price

WIESBADEN, GERMANY — Primera Technology Europe, European headquarter of Primera Technology, Inc., the world's leading developer and manufacturer of CD, DVD and Blu-ray Disc duplication and printing equipment, today announced its DP-XRP100 Disc Publisher. Its first time introduction to the public will take place at this year's Systems show, October 21-24, 2008 in Munich, Germany. Primera is located in Hall B2, Stand 450.

The DP-XRP100 incorporates along with built-in robotics and full-color direct-to-disc inkjet printing, two high-quality drives to record onto the widest range of optical media including CD-R, DVD±R (single and dual layer), Mini-Discs, Business-Cards and BD-R (single and dual layer). For the DVD/CD model Primera cooperates with Pioneer® while Panasonic® SW-5582 drives are used for the Blu-ray version.

An advanced, sixth-generation robotic mechanism is used to transport discs into the built-in recorder. After recording, each disc is individually printed in full-color at up to 4800 dpi resolution. Up to 100 discs can be burned and printed per job from a Mac® or Windows® (XP/2000/Vista™) computer.

Primera features in all Disc Publisher products cartridges with integrated ink heads for hassle free and long operation. In contrast to the fixed head technology less cleaning cycles are needed, therefore less ink is wasted, resulting in lowest ink costs per disc. In addition, there are no hidden costs for expensive head changes.

Besides the mentioned technical advantages, Primera values the customer's needs and offers an extended 24 months warranty and lifetime service, support as well as free software updates through dtm-print.eu.
