6E Manual Feed Mode
Manual feed mode allows you to load cookies by hand directly to the print platform. This can be used for oversized or irregular-shaped cookies that don’t fit well on the carousel platter. For complete specifications see section 2A.
- Update to the latest firmware 1.25 or higher. To update firmware, open PrintHub -choose settings - Click the Update tab.
- Once the firmware has been updated, power off the Printer.
- Disconnect the carousel platter 8 pin mini din cable in the back of the Printer. (You do not need to detach the Carousel. However, you may find it easier to remove the platter.)
- Power on the Printer. When the Printer is powered on with no carousel detected, it will automatically go into manual feed mode. Carousel is Disconnected – Manual Mode Enabled will be displayed in Print Hub.
- Now send a print (or multiple prints).
- The platform presents itself.
- Load the print object/cookie.
- Press the Pause button.
- The item is then printed and presented.
- Load the next item and press Pause again to print it and repeat the process.

6G Interpreting LED Indicator Lights (Flashing Lights).
Most error messages will appear on your computer screen via the PrintHub application or the Printer Utility (Mac). However, if the error prevents communication with the computer, the LED lights may be used to help diagnose the problem.
LED | Status | Explanation |
---|---|---|
Power LED | Solid | Printer is connected to Power and in Idle/Ready state |
Power LED | Slow Flash during printer movement | Printer is going through the startup sequence, printing or calibrating. This will occur any time the carousel or cookie platform is moving. |
Power LED | Fast Flash – no printer movement | Error is present which prevents printing. Please open PrintHub or Config Utility(Mac) for more information. Light will blink with internal LEDs if enabled. |
Ink LED | Flashing | Ink is low - Replace the ink Cartridge |
Internal Blue and Green LEDs | Flashing - no printer movement | An Error is present –Flash only occurs if set to flash in the advanced settings. You can turn this off! (See Section 3E -PC and 5D-Mac) |
Internal Blue and Green LEDs | Flashing while printing | Alternate between blue and green during printing if set to flash in the advanced setting. – You can turn this off! (See Section 3E -PC and 5D - Mac) |
